HOPE’S Graphics & Designs was created and launched in 1990 by Esperanza (Spanish for HOPE) Carmina van Arkens, in response to many requests from family, friends, and business owners who wanted to enhance their lives, businesses and homes with the painting talents that God had gifted me with. For me to use these gifts over the past 16 years has been a true blessing to many wonderful people and it is a privilege to present to you this website, so that you may enjoy a visual experience as to what these God-given talents represent.

As artist/owner of HOPE’s Graphics, I really thrive in serving others. It is pure joy to me personally to have the opportunity to decorate a child’s face, to liven up a window front on a business or provide that very special touch of customized, intricate murals in a family’s home. Seasonal decorations of apartment complexes, birthday banners and special customized projects are also part of the services offered, with clean up services optional. Note that HOPE’s Graphics only uses high quality paints for all projects, resulting in long term enjoyment and use. Many businesses have seen a strong increase in customer traffic after the windows are decorated with custom paints and designs. I have contracted with NBA teams to do their fans’ faces prior to the start of games as well as private birthday parties and church functions.
